FCO letters is short for flat cut out letters, many sign factory can make acrylic or PVC letter signs, they are cost effective and easy to be fabricated, but the signs are not durable. So many clients want to make high quality sign product with different metals and different finish which looks the sign looks elegant. These kind of sign products have great quality, and they are not easy to be made. Laser cut or waterjet cut out with very careful hand sanding process to make the returns smooth, then the whole surface will be painted or brushed or sanded or even #8 polished finish, the letter back will be taped for stud mounting, sometimes the letters will have 3M VHB tape on the back for glass mounting.

The FCO letter is a three-dimension type letter, and it belongs to architecture signs which is widely used for Apartment ID sign & Building ID sign & Directional sign for hotel and high buildings. It has different style because of the design, sometimes the letters need to be welded together for a better installation and sometimes they will be sticked on a plate as a part of ADA sign. It is braille signs which is called ADA sign in USA, material can be metal and acrylic, it's a very popular product for signs. Sometimes the client will also order and install braille pads below the individual letters, it depends on the sign design.
